नीप a. Situated low, deep.-पः 1 The foot of a mountain.-2 A kind of कदम्ब (said to blossom in the rainy season; Adina Cordifolia Hook). The tree is known as हेडु or हेडकदम्ब in Marāthī. It is the same as हरिद्रकदम्बक or हरिद्रक.
